Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Just Chefn Around mobile application and related websites (the “App,” “we,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The service
Just Chefn Around helps you browse recipes, build a dish (main, sides, and sauces), cook with a synced timeline, manage a grocery list, import recipes, and optionally subscribe to Pro features. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.
Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscriptions & purchases
Some features require a paid subscription (Just Chefn Around Pro). Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscription terms, pricing, free trials, renewals, and cancellations are managed in your Apple ID subscription settings. We do not control Apple’s billing interface. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s policies.
If you start a free trial, your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Free tier limits
The free tier may include limits such as a capped number of imports (lifetime) and dishes per month. Limits may change; current limits are described in the App.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you create or import into the App. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the App (including import parsing and, where you choose to share, community features). You are responsible for having the rights to content you import or post.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service; scraping beyond ordinary use; uploading unlawful or infringing content; or harassing other users through community features.
We review reported content within 24 hours and remove violating content and users.
Third-party services
The App relies on third parties (for example Apple, Supabase, hosting providers, and AI providers used for recipe import). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. Links or imports from third-party sites (such as social platforms) are your responsibility.
Disclaimer
Recipes and cooking guidance are for informational purposes. Cooking involves heat, tools, and food safety risks. You are responsible for safe kitchen practices, allergen awareness, and verifying doneness. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Chefn Around and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App and delete your account by contacting us.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, when changes are material, provide additional notice in the App or by email when appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
